About the Founder Reverend John

Reverend John’s ministry has been dedicated to helping vulnerable children since 1987, beginning with the distribution of fingerprint kits specifically for children.

In October 1999, after his niece was tragically found missing and murdered by her father, he and his family established the “American Citizens Coalition for Justice.” They lobbied for a “capital crime bill” for children, known as the “Valiree Jackson Act.” This proposed bill would allow prosecutors to seek the death penalty or life imprisonment without the possibility of parole for crimes involving the rape and/or murder of children aged 14 and under. Although the bill was not passed into law, enough community signatures were collected to extend the life sentence from 25 years to 50 years.

Following the conviction, Rev. John authored the book “Find My Baby,” which recounts his harrowing experience searching for his niece and hoping to uncover the fate of his sister. His story was also featured on the TV show “America’s Most Wanted,” marking the first case where a GPS tracking system was used to track and implicate the perpetrator.

Inspired by his search for his niece and sister, Rev. John transformed his advertising and marketing business from placing business signs on display boards in grocery stores to placing signs featuring missing children on benches outside the stores.

From 1999 until 2014, his mission to help vulnerable children faced challenges due to corrupt interference and legal issues. However, since 2014, he has been actively involved in supporting vulnerable children through the establishment of the Foster Kids Need Organization. This organization was born from his experience working with the Foster Hope Organization for over eight years, which ended due to the COVID-19 moratorium.

Rev. John is back again having established, the Foster Kids Need Organization dedicated to helping the most vulnerable children in the foster care system and impoverished children not in the system by supporting those who directly assist kids in foster care and impoverished families.

In addition to providing direct support, through the organization, Rev. John’s mission is to help raise awareness about the persistent problems in the foster care system and its connection to human and sex trafficking. See Foster Children Overlooked
